Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled registered nurse for our Women, Infant and Children (WIC) and Maternal Child Health (MCH) Program. This position is part time working 3 days a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The main office is located in Sabetha and travel required to our Seneca office occasionally. Additional travel required for MCH Home Visits.
Responsibilities
-Serve as the Women, Infant, Children (WIC) nurse
-Conduct MCH Home Visits to prenatal and postnatal families
-Conduct health assessments/Kan-Be-Healthy exams on infant and children
-Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
-Provide education to new parents
-Administer vaccinations
-Provide public health education
-Additional public health nursing duties
Requirements
Must hold a current Kansas nursing license
Ability to manage medical records efficiently.
Experience in caring for infants and toddlers, providing guidance to new parents on best practices.
